We Run for Black Lives

We Run for Black Lives is a running group dedicated to diversifying and integrating the distance running community, aiming to contribute towards a society free of racism, prejudice, and discrimination. Through organized runs and events, including a recent solidarity run with the Black Lives Matter movement, the group strives to create a welcoming environment where running while Black is not seen as a crime. This donation-based group directs all proceeds to their charity partner, Black Girls RUN, as part of their commitment to supporting and empowering Black runners.
