Old Town Run Club (OTRC)

Based in Alexandria, Virginia, the Old Town Run Club (OTRC) is a welcoming and energetic running community committed to fitness, connection, and giving back. As a registered nonprofit, OTRC brings runners of all levels together for regular group runs and charitable events throughout the year. Weekly Group Runs: Tuesdays: Team RWB Old Town Eagles Run at Market Square, 6:30 PM Wednesdays: Murphy’s Evening Run at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub, 7:00 PM Fridays: O’Connell’s Run at Daniel O’Connell’s Irish Pub, 6:30 PM Saturdays: Murphy’s Morning Run at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub, 8:30 AM Community Impact: OTRC hosts events like the Jingle Bell 5K and “May the 4th Be With You” 10K, raising funds for causes like the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports first responders and military families. In 2024, club members completed a four-day, 267-mile tribute run from the Pentagon to NYC in honor of 9/11. Whether you’re chasing PRs or just looking for good company and a post-run pint, Old Town Run Club offers a supportive and purpose-driven space to run and give back.
