Yorktown Independence Day 8k Run/walk

Join us on July 4, 2025, for the thrilling Yorktown Independence Day 8K Run/Walk in Yorktown, Virginia, set against the historic Yorktown Battlefield Tour Road. This chip-timed event starts at 8 AM near the York High School tennis courts, with Fife and Drummers leading participants to the start line for a morning of fitness and patriotism. Experience the USATF certified 8K course and 5K Fun Run at 8:30 AM, where all 8K participants receive a custom race t-shirt and the chance to earn a stunning die-cast commemorative medal for the first 350 finishers. Awards await the top three overall men and women, with age group categories ranging from 14 and under to 75 and over. Excitingly, this year introduces the 8K Ruck Division for additional recognition. After the race, enjoy refreshments and a post-race celebration to conclude this unforgettable event.
