Join us for the 17th Annual YMCA of Barry County Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, November 27th, 2025, in scenic Hastings, Barry County! This beloved event features a 5K run/walk and a 1-Mile Fun Run, catering to all fitness levels and ages. Starting at the picturesque corner of Buehler Rd & Iroquois Trail, the festivities begin with the family-friendly 1-Mile Fun Run at 8:30 AM, followed by the exhilarating 5K race at 8:45 AM. Traverse a charming route that winds past YMCA Camp Algonquin, setting the perfect tone for your holiday celebrations. Participants stand a chance to win fantastic prizes, including delectable turkeys from Otto's Turkey Farm for the top male and female 5K finishers. Get into the spirit by dressing festively for the Best Dressed contest and make sure to bring along your loved ones to partake in this joyous event. As we come together for a day of fun and fitness, let's also give back to the community by donating non-perishable food items to support the Barry County United Way.
