Veterans Marathon And Heroes 5k

Join us for the 17th Annual Veterans Marathon, Half-Marathon, and Heroes 5K on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, in the charming town of Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana! This uplifting event celebrates our nation's veterans with picturesque routes through gently rolling countryside, embodying the true spirit of Hoosier values. Choose from the full marathon, featuring a unique two-loop course, the half-marathon, or the spirited Heroes 5K honoring the local Columbia City Fire Department. Races kick off at 8:00 AM EST for the marathon and half-marathon, and at 8:15 AM for the Heroes 5K. Enjoy post-race festivities with hot soup, unique limestone awards, and a special team challenge in the Heroes 5K. This event fosters community spirit and supports local organizations, with profits benefiting AMVETS post 2919 and the Columbia City Fire Department.
