Trout Valley Turkey Trot

Get set to hit the pavement at the 19th Annual Trout Valley Turkey Trot on November 27th, 2025, in the beautiful Oakwood Hills of McHenry. This festive event offers a captivating run through historic Trout Valley, featuring a Kids Fun Run at 8:30 AM and a competitive 5K race at 9:00 AM for participants of all ages. Supporting local youth athletes in the Cary-Grove community and the Cary-Grove Food Pantry, this event is a wonderful opportunity for families to join together and give back. With medals and prizes for top finishers, as well as awards for each age group, participants can also savor a post-race drink from Phase Three Brewing (for those of age). Don't forget to bring non-perishable food items to aid the local pantry. Embrace this beloved community tradition and add extra significance to your Thanksgiving celebration!
