Trail Running Festival

Experience the thrill of the 3rd Annual Trail Running Festival in the scenic New Smyrna Beach, Volusia, on December 13, 2025. Discover the beauty of the Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve across 2,500 acres of stunning landscapes, from old growth forests to picturesque salt marshes. Whether you're a seasoned runner or new to trail running, this festival offers something for everyone with the challenging Badass Boar 48K Ultra Marathon, the scenic Hungry Horsefly Half Marathon, and the delightful Torpid Tortoise 12K. Starting at the Creek Shore Trail, runners will tackle well-maintained loops based on their chosen distance, each earning a custom race t-shirt, finisher's medal, and access to a vibrant post-race celebration with homemade vegan chili, drinks, and awards. The races kick off at 7:00 AM for the 48K, 7:30 AM for the half marathon, and 8:00 AM for the 12K, promising a day of personal triumphs and unforgettable experiences.
