The Captain's 5k Run/walk & 1 Mile

Join us for the 2nd Annual Captain's 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile event at McCurry Park in Fayetteville, Georgia on Saturday, November 8, 2025. This community event features a USATF-certified 5K course, perfect for Peachtree Road Race qualifiers, starting at 9:00 AM, followed by a family-friendly 1 Mile fun run at 9:45 AM. Supporting the Thomas T.J. Jefferson Foundation's scholarship program for students in Coweta and Fayette counties, early bird registration is open until September 15, 2025, offering the 5K for $25 and the 1 Mile for $20. Join us for a day of fitness, fun, and unity as we celebrate the legacy of Jerome J. Kirkland Sr. and raise awareness for cancer. Save the date and be part of this inspiring event!
