The 2026 Clemson 8 Challenge

Join the 2026 Clemson 8 Challenge, a meaningful and inspiring event held in beautiful Clemson, South Carolina, from March 7 to April 9, 2026. This unique challenge invites participants to honor Clemson alumni who were prisoners of war during World War II by running, walking, biking, hiking, swimming, or skiing. Choose to join the officially timed in-person race at 9:00 AM on March 7 or participate virtually from March 7 to March 14, completing your chosen distances on your own course. High school JROTC teams have until April 9 to finish their challenge, making it a fantastic community engagement opportunity. With 100% of proceeds supporting Clemson University Military Affiliated Student Organizations, the event aims to raise $19,420 to continue its legacy of contributing over $126,000 to scholarships.
