This January race offers breathtaking winter scenery along the Allegheny Trail, featuring smooth terrain with 4,000 feet of elevation gain for the 50k and 2,500 feet for the 20-mile race. Runners will experience a scenic ascent to a bird observatory with panoramic views of soaring raptors and layered blue mountains, followed by rolling ridges, meadows, and forested trails with deciduous trees, pines, and rhododendron. The course finishes with a fast, winding descent on paved roads through peaceful farms, providing a fantastic opportunity for a personal best.
