Tails & Trails 5k

Join us for an exciting day at the second annual Tails & Trails 5K on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in the picturesque setting of Clarkston, Oakland! This family-friendly event offers something for everyone, starting with the CAT WALK 1K at 10 AM, where pets of all kinds can strut their stuff. The main 5K race begins at 10:30 AM, guiding participants through the breathtaking trails of Independence Oaks. Beyond the race, enjoy a vibrant family fun zone with activities for all ages and local animal businesses showcasing their services. This year, we are proud to support Do Only Good Animal Rescue and Great Lakes Dog Rescue through donations of funds, food, treats, and toys. Whether you walk or run, bring your furry companions along (dogs and cats welcomed!) for a day of fun, fitness, and compassion towards our beloved four-legged friends!
