Swammie Shuffle 200
Join us for the Swammie Shuffle 200, a meaningful endurance event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for programs supporting veterans battling post-traumatic stress and depression. Starting at Sanbridge Beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia, participants will embark on a challenging 200+ mile journey through the scenic Outer Banks of North Carolina, passing by iconic lighthouses and the possibility of encountering wild horses along the route. With a limited number of spots available for in-person participation, this event encourages runners to make a difference in any way they can, whether through running, making a donation, or spreading the word about Mission 22 and the resources they offer. The race, spanning five and a half days, culminates at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, serving as both a physical and symbolic turnaround point. While self-supported and with minimal aid provided to ensure maximum funds raised go towards preventing veteran suicide, the Swammie Shuffle 200 also offers participants the chance to receive recognition for their significant achievement through swag. By supporting Awareness N Action and Mission22 charities, you'll be contributing to essential efforts in combatting veteran suicide and providing crucial support to those who have served our country.
