Strides For Scholars

Join us for Strides For Scholars on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Union, Northeastern Connecticut, featuring the state's fastest 5K course and a scenic 2-Mile Walk. Starting at 9:00 AM from Union Elementary School, this exhilarating event offers runners a thrilling downhill route through the picturesque Yale Forest along Kinney Hollow Rd, perfect for setting a new personal record. Registration and packet pickup begin at 7:30 AM, giving participants ample time to prepare and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The first 100 registrants will receive a special commemorative T-shirt. All proceeds support the Union School Association Scholarship Foundation, dedicated to helping graduating high school seniors since 1995.
