Striders Dismal Swamp 5 Miler And Kid's 1 Mile

Join us for the Striders Dismal Swamp 5 Miler and Kid's 1 Mile on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the picturesque Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake. This exciting event features a challenging 5-mile race along a scenic 2.5-mile out-and-back course on a closed two-lane roadway, perfect for runners seeking both fitness and beautiful surroundings. Young runners can participate in the Kid's 1 Mile, a fun 0.5-mile out-and-back on the trail designed just for them. Enjoy convenient early packet pickup on Friday, April 24, from 3-6 PM at Point 2 Running Company, or register on race day starting at 7 AM. The 5-mile race begins promptly at 8:00 AM, followed by the Kid's 1 Mile at 9:30 AM. Participants will benefit from a well-stocked aid station at the halfway point, and all finishers receive a stylish commemorative T-shirt. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as age group winners across both distances.
