Rutgers Big Chill 5k

Celebrate the holiday season with the Rutgers Big Chill 5K on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in New Brunswick, Middlesex County. This popular annual race, a cherished tradition since 2003, unites thousands of runners and supporters from the Rutgers University community to promote fitness and give back. Participants can choose between an in-person 5K starting at 10 AM from the College Avenue Gym, with convenient check-in on Friday and Saturday morning, or a flexible virtual option allowing you to run or walk the 5K anytime between December 8 and December 15 from any location. Registration fees are $27 for in-person runners, which includes a toy donation benefiting local children, and $10 for virtual participants. All proceeds support the No Hungry Knights Fund, dedicated to enhancing food security on campus.
