Running For Prevention

Join us for the 3rd Annual Running for Prevention 5K Family Walk/Run on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, in the scenic city of Rutland. This inspiring event supports National Child Abuse and Neglect Awareness Month by bringing together participants of all ages to promote a safer, healthier community. Designed to accommodate runners and walkers from age groups 5-10, 11-16, and 18+, the event offers competitive prizes for the top three finishers in each category. By taking part, you’ll be supporting Rutland County Parent Child Centers and their crucial programs aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect through the promotion of the Five Protective Factors.
