Run For The Rare!

Join us for the captivating Run For The Rare event in Salem, Marion on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Lace up your shoes for a meaningful cause as we raise awareness for International Batten Disease Awareness Day through a dynamic community run offering three race distances: 10k, 5k, and a 1-mile run/walk. Did you know that 1 in 10 individuals is impacted by a rare disease? With over 7000 rare diseases existing and only 5% having FDA-approved treatments, your participation can truly make a difference! The race starts at 10 AM at North Meadow Pavilion, concluding by 1 PM. Registration is $45 for adults and $35 for children, inclusive of a trendy t-shirt, delectable coupons for wings, fries, and ice cream, and access to a lively Photo Booth. Be sure to catch the early packet pickup on June 7 at Gallagher's Fitness from 2 PM to 4 PM.
