Run For Freedom 5k And 10k

Join us for the 23rd annual Run for Freedom 5K and 10K on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, Johnson. This USATF certified event, starting at 8 a.m., welcomes participants from West Central Missouri and Eastern Kansas to run or walk in support of our veterans. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of serving veterans, this year's race offers both 5K and 10K distances with professional timing for accurate results. Top finishers in each age category will receive medals presented by the veterans themselves. Proceeds from the event directly benefit programs that enhance the lives of veterans through leisure activities and outings around Missouri.
