Rube's Run

Join us for the 24th Annual Rube's Run 5k Run and Walk on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in the charming town of Prospect, Butler! Celebrate community spirit and fitness on our picturesque 5k course, passing by the boyhood home of baseball legend Rube Waddell. Register by July 19 for just $20 and secure your spot, complete with a commemorative shirt if ordered by the same date. Stick around for the free Kids Race post-adult event, with a $5 special T-shirt option. Whether you run in person or virtually at your own pace, there's something for everyone. Enjoy post-race hotdogs and drinks, and cheer on the top finishers in each age group. All proceeds support the Prospect Area Preservation Society, giving back to the community while having a great time!
