Road Warrior 50k (Individual and Relay)

Join the Road Warrior 50k, a unique race covering a scenic 33.5-mile loop through West Chicago, Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora, Warrenville, Wheaton, and back to Carol Stream. This event is free for Dick Pond Racing team members in 2025 and open to the public through Running Is Fun Sometimes. Participants can choose to run solo or as part of a relay team, with flexible team sizes and the option for runners to be accompanied by cyclists. The race starts anytime after 5:30 AM, aiming for most teams to finish by noon at Dick Pond Athletics in Carol Stream for a celebratory post-race party with complimentary food and drinks. Individual registration costs $30 ($40 after 5/15), while relay teams can register for $15 per runner ($20 after 5/15). Relay teams must designate a team captain for registration and are responsible for their own transportation. Aid stations along the route provide basic supplies, with runners encouraged to bring their preferred items. The event culminates in a free post-race picnic offering burgers, hotdogs, and beverages at the Dick Pond Athletics parking lot.
