Rapides Junior Runners Fall Series

Get set for an exhilarating season of running at the Rapides Junior Runners Fall Series happening in Pineville, Louisiana from September 6 to October 25, 2025. This dynamic event offers four exciting races tailored for young runners aged 3 to junior high, featuring distances suited for each age group. The event includes a delightful 1/2 mile run for 3-5 year-olds, a challenging 1 mile race for 6-11 year-olds, and a thrilling 2 mile competition for participants aged 12-14, who can choose to compete individually or as part of their Junior High School team. Held at the picturesque Ward 9 Sports Complex, the closed traffic course guarantees a secure and enjoyable setting for all young athletes, with chip-timed races ensuring accurate results. Participants will be equipped with a chipped bib, goody bag, and a finisher medal at the conclusion of each race, encouraging them to collect all four bibs. Race days commence at 8:00 AM with the 1 mile race, followed by the 1/2 mile and 2 mile races, promising a day filled with fun and excitement for all participants.
