Race To The River 5k & Fun Run

Join us for the 4th Annual Race to the River 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the vibrant town of Spencer, Rowan. This event, part of Rowan County Creek Week 2025, offers a fast, point-to-point 5K course from Spencer Town Park to the scenic Yadkin River Park Trailhead, suitable for runners of all levels. A special 1/2-mile Fun Run for kids aged 12 and under will also be held at the beautiful Spencer Town Park. Register on race day starting at 8:00 a.m. to secure your race t-shirt and sponsor bag. Top finishers will be recognized across age groups, and all proceeds go towards supporting the Spencer Community Garden, aiding families in need.
