Race For The Future 5k Run/walk
Join us for the 29th Annual Race for the Future 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Lee's Summit, Jackson! This family-friendly event at the Lee's Summit West Activity Complex supports the Lee's Summit Educational Foundation and honors the memory of former student Carrie Foresee. The race begins at 8:00 AM after registration opens at 7:30 AM, offering a scenic 5K course for both runners and walkers. Kids up to 6th grade can enjoy the Kids Dash, and the top three LSR7 schools with the highest participation can earn grants up to $1,000. Sign up by September 28 to secure your t-shirt and be a part of this wonderful cause. Whether you're participating or cheering on the sidelines, come join us and help Race for the Future!
