Orrc Turkey Trot At The Zoo

Join us for the exciting ORRC Turkey Trot at The Zoo on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the beautiful city of Portland, Multnomah! This vibrant, family-friendly event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities to take on the fun 5K untimed out-and-back course, starting from The Oregon Zoo's Forestry Center and Max station. Participants will enjoy a scenic route leading to the picturesque International Rose Garden, culminating in a festive finish at the Elephant Plaza inside the zoo. Kids can partake in the adorable Tot Trot for ages 0-4 and the lively Gobble Gallop for children aged 5-10 post the 5K run. Each participant will receive a beanie hat and a chocolate turkey, ensuring a memorable experience for the whole family. Register early as the event is capped at 2,300 participants for non-ORRC members, with no day-of-race registration. With around $25,000 from registration fees benefiting The Oregon Zoo, you can trot with purpose and support a great cause.
