This exciting event, formerly known as the Baptist Health Mariners Hospital "Run for the Nurses," offers a timed 5K Run/Walk along the iconic Old Highway in Islamorada. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, the flat and tree-shaded course provides the perfect challenge. By participating, you'll not only test your limits but also support a noble cause—the Baptist Health Mariners Hospital Center for Excellence in Nursing. Starting and ending at Coral Shores High School, the first 250 registrants will receive exclusive race shirts, and all finishers will earn a well-deserved medal. With awards for top finishers in various age categories and a lively post-race celebration featuring snacks, refreshments, and music, the Old Highway Run/Walk guarantees an unforgettable experience filled with community spirit, healthy competition, and camaraderie.
