Naked Mountain Ultra

Welcome to the Naked Mountain Ultra at Morrow Mountain State Park, where runners will tackle the challenging terrain of the Uwharrie Mountains in central North Carolina. This unique event offers 50/25/10-mile courses that traverse four mountain peaks, promising a test of endurance and scenic beauty. With a 15-hour cutoff time for the 50-mile race and various aid stations stocked with fueling options, including products from Huma Gel, participants are well-supported throughout their journey. Pacers are permitted for 50-mile runners, adding an element of strategy to the race. Scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at Morrow Mountain State Park in Albemarle, NC, this event caters to both seasoned ultra-runners and those seeking a new challenge.
