Nail The Rail Half Marathon, 10k & 5k

Experience the thrill of the Nail the Rail Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on April 25, 2026, in the picturesque Shasta Lake area of Shasta, California! This event welcomes runners of all abilities to revel in the beauty of the Sacramento Rail Trail, a stunning 11-mile path along the Sacramento River and Keswick Lake. With a flat and speedy course offering breathtaking vistas, participants can kickstart their day with a refreshing run. Limited to 350 entrants for an intimate atmosphere, the event includes finisher awards for the half marathon, age group recognitions, and top finisher accolades. Starting and concluding at the Chappie OHV area near Shasta Dam, the half marathon kicks off at 8:00 AM, with the 10K and 5K following at 8:15 AM. On-site registration opens at 7 AM, while early packet pickup is available at the Redding Fleet Feet Store on Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM. Don't miss this exciting opportunity!
