Experience the challenging and scenic Mississippi Trail 50, now in its 30th annual edition, offering a variety of race distances including 100M, 50M, 50K, and 20K through the picturesque DeSoto National Forest. The event features a mix of single track and double track trails, making it ideal for both seasoned ultra-runners and those looking to tackle their first 50K or 50 Mile race. With packet pickup conveniently located at the trailhead, participants can enjoy post-race food at the start/finish line and receive unique finisher mementos, including belt buckles for 50 Mile and 100M finishers. The 100 Mile event, starting at noon on Friday, presents a unique challenge with a 30-hour time limit, while other distances commence on Saturday morning, allowing for race distance switches mid-event. The event culminates with all races finishing by 6 pm on Saturday, providing a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Don't miss the opportunity to test your limits and enjoy the world-famous MUTS aid station along the way.
