Experience the breathtaking Mines of Spain at the 8th Annual Miner 49er endurance runs, offering a challenging 25k out and back course with stunning views of the historic Julien Dubuque Monument, Horseshoe Bluff, and the majestic Mississippi River. Runners can expect diverse terrain including single track, double track, prairie trails, and approximately 2200 feet of elevation gain. For the ultra-adventurous 50k participants, the route features a double loop with 4400 feet of elevation gain, presenting obstacles like stone steps, stream crossings, and natural obstacles. With three well-stocked aid stations providing essential nutrition, participants can push their limits in this scenic yet demanding race. Please note the cut off time for both events is 5pm, and there are no pacers allowed. Register early and don't miss out on the opportunity to conquer this challenging course in the Mines of Spain.
