Medvejie Solstice Run

Join us for the Medvejie Solstice Run on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Sitka! Celebrating its 18th year, this beloved fundraiser for the SHS XC and Track program offers a thrilling day of running in the stunning surroundings of Herring Cove and the Medvejie Hatchery. Choose from the challenging 1/2 marathon, spirited 10K, or fun-filled 5K, all starting and finishing at the Beaver Lake Trailhead. With hilly terrain to conquer, be sure to train well for this invigorating event. On-site registration is available until 8:30 AM, with fees of $30 for the 5K, $35 for the 10K, and $45 for the 1/2 marathon. The first 75 entrants will receive a non-cotton T-shirt, and SHS students can participate for free, with T-shirts available for purchase.
