Join us on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the iconic Charlotte Motor Speedway for the inaugural Lights & Sirens Race for Hope, proudly hosted by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol in support of Special Olympics North Carolina. This exciting event offers participants the choice of a challenging 5K run or a family-friendly 1.5-mile fun run, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the lives of nearly 53,000 SONC athletes and Unified partners. Starting at 10:00 AM, runners will experience the thrill of racing on the Speedway track, while the first 250 registered 5K participants will receive a complimentary voucher to enjoy the spectacular Christmas Light Show at the venue. With convenient packet pick-up beginning at 8:00 AM and ample parking inside the track, this heartwarming day promises fitness, fun, and community spirit in support of a meaningful cause.
