John Bliven Memorial Walk/run

Join the community at the 24th Annual John Bliven Memorial Walk/Run on June 28, 2025, in Macomb, McDonough, as part of the Heritage Days celebration! This event commemorates John Bliven, a dedicated member of the McDonough County Sheriff's Office for 50 years. Participants can opt for a 2-mile walk/run or a 5K, starting at 7:45 a.m. after registration opens at 7:00 a.m. at the Old Dairy. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to be active, all ages and abilities are welcome. With pre-registration priced at $30 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, on-site registration is also available at $35 and $25, respectively. Kids will receive a complimentary ice cream coupon for the Old Dairy upon registration. Excitingly, awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in both races. All event proceeds will support Samaritan Well, Inc. transitional housing shelters and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
