Join us for the JMU 9/11 5K on Sunday, September 7th, 2025, at the picturesque James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This uplifting event, organized in partnership with VA Momentum and JMU Valor, aims to commemorate September 11th and honor the student heroes within our community. Open to all skill levels, participants can walk or run at their own pace along a scenic route on the east campus. The chip-timed 5K starts and finishes behind the Festival Conference and Student Center, making it a perfect gathering spot for friends and family. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a first-time participant, come together with fellow JMU students, faculty, staff, and Harrisonburg community members for a day of unity and remembrance. Ample parking is available for those without a JMU parking permit, ensuring everyone can join in this meaningful celebration!
