I Got Your Six Walk/run

Join us on Sunday, May 17, 2026, for the spirited I Got Your Six Walk/Run in Bourbonnais, Kankakee! This annual event aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by police officers while honoring the legacies of Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic and Officer Tyler Bailey. Choose from a 10K run, 5K run, or a 2-mile walk, suitable for all levels of fitness. Can't make it in person? Participate virtually! Don't forget to register your furry companions to join in on the fun. All participants will receive an exclusive I Got Your Six race shirt and medal, and registered dogs will sport a custom race handkerchief. The event unfolds at scenic Perry Farm Park, offering a picturesque route meandering through prairies, woods, and riverfront vistas. Proceeds will benefit two Kankakee Community College Law Enforcement Scholarships in honor of these officers. Lace up your shoes and be a part of this impactful event!
