Herscher Hare & Tortoise 5k Race & 2 Mile Fun Walk

Join us for the Herscher Hare & Tortoise 5K Race & 2 Mile Fun Walk in Herscher, Kankakee on Sunday, August 31, 2025! This community event offers a choice between a competitive 5K race and a leisurely 2 Mile Fun Walk through the charming streets of Herscher. With age divisions and awards for top finishers in the 5K, as well as recognition for the first ten Fun Walk participants, there's something for everyone. Kids 7 and under can also join the fun in the Bunny Dash. After the races, enjoy refreshments and celebrate your accomplishments before diving into Herscher's Annual Labor Day festivities.
