Aimed at bringing together 2,000 participants, this community-driven initiative not only fosters a sense of camaraderie among local runners but also honors and supports our esteemed first responders from Police, Fire Rescue, Ocean Rescue, and military agencies in South Florida. Beyond the thrill of the races, the Heroes Run is a meaningful endeavor to address the mental health needs of our heroes, with all proceeds benefiting organizations like the Broward Sheriff's Office Benevolent Association and the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue Benevolent Association, as well as supporting "Stomping Out the Stigma," a program providing confidential counseling services to first responders.
