Hell Hole Hundred
Welcome to the Hell Hole Hundred, a challenging ultramarathon event set in the picturesque Jericho Horse Trail within the Francis Marion National Forest of South Carolina. Presented by Billy Simons Real Estate and The Foot Store, and managed by Palmetto Ultras, this race offers distances from 10k to 100 miles, catering to all levels of runners. Taking place in the hot and humid South Carolina swamps in June, this race promises a test of endurance amidst stunning natural surroundings. Participants can enjoy primitive camping the night before the race, with fully stocked aid stations offering a variety of snacks and beverages along the course. The flat but unforgiving trail features dirt fire roads and single track, with wildlife encounters adding to the adventure. Pacers are welcome for the 50 and 100-mile distances, while night runners must carry a light for safety. With unique swag and awards for finishers, as well as volunteer opportunities to earn race discounts, the Hell Hole Hundred is an unforgettable experience for any trail running enthusiast.
