Green Street Santa Sprint

Join the festive fun at the 1st Annual Green Street Santa Sprint on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Gainesville, Hall. Participants are invited to don green Santa suits and race along historic Green Street, surrounded by beautifully decorated homes and sparkling Christmas lights, creating a magical holiday atmosphere. This exciting sprint event is followed by the vibrant Christmas on Green Street celebration, featuring a delightful parade with antique cars, holiday floats, and marching bands, as well as captivating performances by musicians, magicians, and jugglers. Families can enjoy a variety of festive activities including face painting, balloon artistry, and a miniature train ride. The day concludes with the traditional Lighting of the Rotary Tree at approximately 5:30 p.m., making this event a perfect way to kick off the holiday season in Gainesville.
