Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Greatest 4th in the North 5K & 10K on Friday, July 4, 2025, in the charming town of Lake City, Missaukee! This exciting event supports local Lake City Trojan students and athletes, with proceeds benefiting Lake City Boosters. Runners can choose between a fast and flat 5K course offering stunning views of Lake Missaukee and the vibrant downtown area, adorned in patriotic decorations. The 10K course provides a greater challenge with a delightful half-mile loop through scenic woodlands on hard-packed dirt trails. Families can enjoy the 2K Fun Run as the littlest racers dash through Missaukee County Park and along the beach's boardwalk. Stick around after the race for the festive Fourth of July parade and spectacular fireworks display over Lake Missaukee in the evening.
