The course combines mellow dirt and gravel carriage roads with technical singletrack trails, boasting 289 feet of elevation gain and a mix of rocky descents and climbs, perfect for both beginners and seasoned trail enthusiasts. As a fundraiser for the South Mountain Conservancy, this event supports local conservation efforts with over $20,000 raised since 2018. Participants enjoy a self-supported race experience with no aid stations or finishers’ swag, emphasizing community spirit, fun, and adventure.
