Freedom Run 2025
Experience the thrill of the Freedom Run 2025 on July 4th at Centennial Park in Springfield, Sangamon. Celebrate Independence Day with a range of race distances, from a newly extended 5K route amidst breathtaking scenery to a 10K along the picturesque Sangamon Valley Trail, and a leisurely 1-mile race. Starting at 7:30 AM at the top of Centennial Park Hill, the races culminate at the bottom where participants can enjoy a delectable breakfast spread and refreshing beverages. Each participant will receive a commemorative Freedom Run finisher t-shirt and medal, with prizes for top finishers and age group winners. Join us for a vibrant community celebration of freedom and fitness!
