Embrace the challenge of this "hard" race in Pittsfield State Forest, MA, offering 15k, 25k, and 50k distances with stunning scenery and demanding terrain. Designed as a double-loop/figure 8 course, runners will navigate long climbs, fast descents, and breathtaking vistas, showcasing the beauty of the forest. With a focus on supporting Free to Run, Inc., an organization empowering women and girls in conflict-affected areas through outdoor activities, this event promotes positive change and community leadership. Participants can expect aid stations, finisher awards, and the opportunity to camp in the forest. Register early to secure a shirt and be part of a race that stands for social, civic, and environmental activism. Please note that the event may transition to a virtual format if necessary, with profits donated to charity. Join BURCS in this inspiring event and be a part of a movement towards inclusivity and empowerment.
