First-responder Face Off

Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in beautiful Beatrice, Gage, for the First-Responder Face Off at Chautauqua Park, an exciting community event featuring a thrilling 5K race and a Gravel Grinder for runners, walkers, and cyclists of all ages. This unique event fosters friendly competition between the Beatrice Police Department and the Beatrice Fire Department, with participants supporting either Team Police or Team Fire. Proceeds from Team Police will benefit Project Lifesaver, a crucial program aiding in the safe location of individuals with Alzheimer’s, autism, and other cognitive conditions, while funds raised by Team Fire will support Muscular Dystrophy research and care. Experience a fun-filled morning of fitness, camaraderie, and community pride as you celebrate local heroes and contribute to meaningful causes in this vibrant and inclusive event.
