Festivus 5k For Autism

Join us for the 14th annual Festivus 5K for Autism on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in historic downtown Salem, Essex! This lively event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Northshore Education Consortium and aims to raise funds to support children with autism, having already raised over $280,000 in the past thirteen years. Starting and finishing on Derby Street, this flat and fast course is expected to attract 500 enthusiastic runners. Early registration is available for $30, increasing to $35 on race day, with registration taking place at Finz Seafood & Grill from 8:30 to 9:45 AM. The first 400 participants will receive a race shirt, and prizes will be awarded to top finishers, as well as for the best costumes.
