Farmingdale Turkey Trot

Experience the excitement of the Farmingdale Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, in the charming Pleasant Plains, Sangamon. This vibrant event offers various race options, including a 5K Walk, a 5K Run, and a special Fun Run for young participants from Pre-K to 4th grade. The festivities begin at 9:00 am with the Fun Run, followed by the 5K race at 9:45 am, guiding runners through scenic trails and grassy paths around the Habitat. Make sure to pre-register for a chance to secure your official event t-shirt and ensure all Fun Runners receive a well-deserved medal. Hosted by the Farmingdale Elementary PTC, this community-focused event encourages healthy activities and fosters local connections among families and friends.
