Euchre Bar Massacre
Experience the ultimate challenge at the Euchre Bar Massacre, a 25 and 50-mile fatass style run set along the breathtaking North Fork of the American River in Foresthill, CA. With approximately 10,000' and 20,000' of elevation gain, respectively, participants can expect rugged terrain, bushwhacking, and thrilling route finding. Limited to just 50 entrants across both distances, this free-to-enter event requires runners to wait at the finish for at least one fellow competitor. Starting and ending at Shirttail Creek Campground, the course will traverse Euchre Bar, Pioneer Mine, Ebeneezer's Highway, and more stunning locations, with drop bags and crew access provided. Prepare for a grueling journey as previous finishers have conquered the 25-mile in 14 hours and the 50-mile in 25 hours. Secure your spot by emailing the race director, and enjoy a group campsite for pre-race camaraderie. Don't miss this rare opportunity for a challenging yet rewarding adventure in the great outdoors.
