Escape The Elves 5k

Join us on Saturday, December 13, 2025, for the Escape The Elves 5K in Downtown Oakwood, GA, a festive and community-focused holiday running event featuring a USATF Certified 5K course starting at the Oakwood Community Center. Kick off your morning at 8:30 AM with a special send-off from Santa, followed by a Fun Run at 8:45 AM, and enjoy the unique experience of meeting Buddy the Elf and spotting playful elves along the route. Dress in your most festive holiday attire for a chance to win the Best Dressed Award, then stay after the race to savor Pancakes with Buddy for just $10 per plate at the Community Center. By participating, you'll support local causes such as the South Hall Food Pantry and adult education scholarships.
