Effingham County Fair 5k

Join us for the Effingham County Fair 5K on July 26, 2025, in Altamont, Effingham! This vibrant race will kick off a week of festivities, starting and ending on the horse track amidst the fairgrounds. Runners will tackle a picturesque 3.1-mile loop through the fairgrounds and ACHS/AGS Track, with lively music along the way. Register by July 21st to secure your race shirt and enjoy packet pickup from 6:45 to 7:15 AM, followed by a prompt 7:30 AM start. Stay hydrated with conveniently located water stations, and strive to be among the top three male and female finishers to earn awards.
