Duncan Ridge Trail

The Duncan Ridge Trail 50K/30K is renowned as one of the most challenging trail races in the Southeast, boasting over 10,000 feet of elevation gain through the rugged terrain of the Coosa Backcountry and Duncan Ridge Trails in Georgia. Starting and ending at Vogel State Park's picturesque Lake Trahlyta in the North Georgia Mountains, participants can opt for a 50K or 30K route, both offering a grueling yet rewarding experience. With strict cut-off times at various aid stations, runners will traverse a course that includes a mix of trails and a brief section of paved road, showcasing the area's stunning natural beauty. The event also contributes all proceeds to park volunteers annually, making it not only a test of endurance but a way to give back to the community. Join us for a memorable and challenging trail running experience at the Duncan Ridge Trail race.
