Club South Runners Freedom Mile
Join us for an exhilarating day of racing at the Club South Runners Freedom Mile on Friday, July 4th, 2025, in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge! This event offers a variety of 1-mile races suitable for all ages and abilities, including a special parent-child 1/2 mile fun run. The day begins with onsite registration at 7:00 AM, followed by races for Masters, Grandmasters, youth, and open divisions for women and men. The event concludes at the historic Old State Capitol, providing a picturesque finish line backdrop. Awards will be given to overall winners and age group champions, with every child in the fun run receiving a finisher certificate. A shuttle bus service will be available to transport runners from the finish line back to the start for most events.
